Another episode recorded remotely in Cat's van in the parking lot of Arbys. We also discuss what projects are on our radar, and when the sequel to Love and Jello might be out, along with a few additional interesting tidbits. We sit down with 5 of our playwriting peers in this awesome supersize episode. Our special guests: Chris Bishop, Michael Radford, Bill McCann, Lisa Holt, and Bill Brohaugh offer insight into their playwriting process, thoughts on working with others, and talk about some of their projects - past and present, as well as pet peeves, and more in this wide ranging discussion.
Note: We recorded this podcast over multiple days and times, and were originally going to cut this into 2 episodes, but wanted to present it in its entirety since we found the subject matter and our guests fascinating. As such, the original ending and beginning of another episode is heard, and the guests may be out of the recorded order. After this recording, Michael Radford and Bill McCann were named the winner and runner up, respectively, in the Kentucky Theater Association Roots of the Bluegrass Playwriting contest for their 10 minute play entries this year, and we want to congratulate them both on this accomplishment. Great work!

Sometimes, we wander off the beaten path, and end up with interesting random content. What started out as an interview type episode, went in a different direction with the help of an online random question generator. We were trying out a new piece of equipment, and recording remotely in Cat's van in a parking lot on a Sunday afternoon. There was a biker shop nearby, and other random things going on which added to the fun of this episode. We share our answers to some interesting questions, as well as insights into why we answered as we did. It is a lighthearted look at what makes us tick, which we hope you will enjoy.

In a conversation at one of our weekly meetings to discuss our projects, Cat and I got into a discussion on goal setting, and what this entails. The gist of the conversation asked the question: Is it your perception of your abilities, or just the reality of hard work that determines your success, and is there any "cosmic" energy that helps you achieve goals. A deep conversation for a Sunday afternoon at Cracker Barrel, but these are the things that come up sometimes after eating too much chicken fried everything. We revisit the discussion in this episode, and give a short update on the things we have happening currently.
